TechFlow news: AltLayer announced that its recently launched MACH AVS is now live on the EigenLayer mainnet alongside Xterio's MACH AVS. These are among the earliest AVSs on EigenLayer to go live together with EigenDA. Both AVSs are now ready to accept Ethereum (ETH) stakers. These AVSs are operated by over 20 institutional operators.
As an AVS, MACH allows users to delegate ETH or LSTs to any registered operator, as well as delegate ALT tokens. The economic collateral securing MACH is then used to attest to the validity of a given Rollup's state, thereby providing a fast finality layer for the Rollup.
As a fast finality AVS, MACH delivers the following core services to end users on OP Mainnet: fast pre-confirmation of Rollup transactions, cryptoeconomic security to detect any malicious network participants, and decentralized validation of Rollup states.
