TechFlow reports that DeepBook Protocol, a DeFi project in the Sui ecosystem, announced on March 28 an airdrop of its $DEEP token to early participants. The airdrop will distribute 1 billion tokens, representing 10% of the total supply of 10 billion. The remaining allocation is set at 59.98% for the community treasury and future distributions, and 31.02% for core contributors and early supporters. According to its whitepaper and roadmap, the $DEEP token is expected to launch in Q2/Q3 2024, accompanied by protocol upgrades and community initiatives.
Users can check their Deepbook NFT via Sui Wallet, which will be redeemable upon the Deepbook token launch.
This also marks the first airdrop in Sui's Airdrop Season, with more airdrops and rewards expected in the future.
DeepBook is a native Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) and foundational liquidity layer built on Sui, officially launched in July 2023. It aims to provide essential liquidity for all developers building financial products on the Sui ecosystem. According to the latest data from DefiLlama, DeepBook's TVL has reached $29.31 million.
