TechFlow News, according to an official announcement from HTX DAO, the first People's Committee election originally scheduled to end on March 25 will be extended to April 2. This extension aims to deeply listen to the opinions of HTX DAO participants and build a more democratic and open community governance model. By encouraging broad participation, thorough discussion, and rational decision-making, HTX DAO hopes to engage more community members in the election process, establishing a committee that better reflects the will of the "people" and jointly planning for the future development of HTX DAO.
The announcement reveals that HTX DAO plans to host two additional debate sessions via Huobi Live from March 29 to April 2. During the first-round debate on March 29, six candidates will be selected from an initial pool of ten provisional committee members. Then, during the second-round debate on April 2, three more members will be chosen to join the People's Committee. The final list of HTX DAO's inaugural People's Committee will be announced on April 3.
Each debate session will feature two key topics for presentation and discussion among the provisional committee candidates. The first round will focus on issues including decision-making authority regarding critical community matters and what candidates can contribute to HTX DAO. The second round will center on the topics: “Exchange listing strategy: high-potential projects vs. established projects” and “Exchange marketing strategy: acquiring new users vs. enhancing user loyalty.”
During the live debates, users may vote for proposals put forward by their preferred provisional committee candidates. Selected committee representatives from HTX’s social media communities will also join the Huobi Live stream to share their personal insights on the topics. Notably, Sun Yuchen, a core supporter of HTX DAO, will attend the Huobi Live session on April 2 and interact with the provisional committee candidates.
