TechFlow News — Grayscale CEO Sonnenshein posted on X, recalling that in June 2018 he attended the Yahoo Finance Summit, where he clearly remembered during a wait backstage, former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission official Bill Hinman explicitly stated: "Ethereum, based on an understanding of Ethereum’s current state, its network and decentralized structure, as well as how it is currently quoted and sold, is not a security." Despite all the progress the industry has made since then, it's almost unimaginable that we now have to defend ETH as a commodity once again. If the crypto industry faces challenges, everyone must step forward to defend it.
