TechFlow reports, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said the likelihood of spot Ethereum ETFs being approved in May has become increasingly slim.
Seyffart noted that the U.S. SEC has not engaged in extensive discussions with issuers regarding spot Ethereum ETFs, a stark contrast to the broad consultations that preceded the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs. He believes this round of applications will be rejected on May 23.
Previous report, the SEC postponed its decision on Hashdex and Ark 21Shares Ethereum ETFs.
