TechFlow news — According to official announcements, COMBO, a Web3 gaming Layer2 platform, is fully supporting the development of omnichain games. The first on-chain game, ForgeHeroes, has received backing from the COMBO Ecosystem Fund and completed development. It is set to launch on the COMBO mainnet in April.
ForgeHeroes is an innovative large-scale MMORPG that integrates multiple gameplay modes including PvP, PvE, and mining, creating a unique omnichain gaming experience. In the game, players take on the roles of legendary heroes from myths, prophecies, and folklore across different cultures, teaming up to fight against dark forces in an epic, time-spanning adventure.
Previously, in June 2023, COMBO announced an $80 million ecosystem fund to provide a full-stack solution for Web3 game development, deployment, and operation, covering technical support, funding, community building, marketing, liquidity, and expert advisory services.
