TechFlow reports, citing Bloomberg via Tree News, that the London Stock Exchange will begin accepting applications for bitcoin and ether ETNs in the second quarter of 2024.
ETN stands for "Exchange Traded Note," a type of exchange-listed product also known as "exchange bonds" or "index-linked securities." Unlike ETFs, the term "Note" indicates that an ETN is a bond issued by a financial institution that, based on its creditworthiness, promises to track the performance of a specific index.
