TechFlow reports on March 8 that according to official community updates, BounceBit has launched its testnet, unveiled a new version of its official website, and released a block explorer.
BounceBit is the first native BTC restaking chain in history. The BounceBit network ensures security through staking both Bitcoin and the BounceBit token. BounceBit introduces a hybrid yield mechanism combining DeFi and CeFi, enabling BTC holders to earn returns via validator staking, the DeFi ecosystem, and a CeFi mirror mechanism backed by Ceffu and Mainnet Digital.
Previous report, on February 29, BounceBit completed a $6 million seed round led by Blockchain Capital and Breyer Capital, with participation from CMS Holdings, Bankless Ventures, NGC Ventures, Matrixport Ventures, DeFiance Capital, OKX Ventures, Bixin Ventures, and HTX Ventures. Notable individual investors include Calvin Liu, Chief Strategy Officer at EigenLayer.
