Meanwhile, Ethereum futures open interest increased along with a significant rise in trading volume. Long liquidations exceeded short liquidations for both assets, yet both maintained relatively balanced long/short ratios.
For BTC futures: Total open interest stood at $31.28 billion (-3.05%), 24-hour trading volume reached $216.21 billion (+65.87%), 24-hour liquidation volume was $27.607 million for longs and $74.72 million for shorts, long/short ratio was 49.36%/50.64%, and funding rate was 0.0159%.
For ETH futures: Total open interest reached $12.11 billion (+1.84%), 24-hour trading volume hit $96.11 billion (+113.01%), 24-hour liquidation volume was $13.908 million for longs and $70.43 million for shorts, long/short ratio was 50.15%/49.85%, and funding rate was 0.0185%.
The top three tokens with the highest open interest growth were LSK: $4.177 million (+355.06%), MYRO: $3.593 million (+127.82%), and MTL: $3.945 million (+108.25%).
