TechFlow news, according to Bloomberg, former Binance executives Gleb Kostarev and Vladimir Smerkis from Eastern Europe are collaborating to launch a new crypto platform called Blum.
Blum will allow users to trade directly from third-party crypto wallets across multiple blockchain networks, with its initial launch scheduled for later this month.
Blum is targeting customers across Asia and plans to seek approval in Georgia as a virtual asset service provider.
The company's headquarters may be based in Dubai, and it is currently negotiating to raise funds from external investors, aiming to complete this funding round later this month.
Kostarev previously served as regional head for Binance in Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand, while Smerkis served as general manager for the CIS region.
