TechFlow reports that Layer2 network Blast has announced on X the launch of its mainnet, which is now allowing early access users to bridge to the mainnet and use Blast-native DApps. Mainnet users will continue earning Blast Points, while mainnet DApps are now eligible to earn Blast Gold.
50% of the Blast airdrop allocation goes to Blast Points (for users), and 50% goes to Blast Gold (for DApps). Gold will be distributed to DApps every two weeks. DApps may retain their Gold, although some have already committed to passing all received Gold to users.
Blast stated that during the pre-launch phase, 181,888 community members deposited $2.3 billion into Blast, collectively earning $85 million annually in native yield and Blast Points.
