TechFlow reports, according to CME FedWatch data, there is a 97.5% probability the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in the 5.25%-5.50% range in March, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut stands at 2.5%.
By May, the probability of keeping rates unchanged is 91.9%, with an 8.0% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut and a 0.1% chance of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut.
