TechFlow reports that Paxos has announced on the X platform that its U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin PYUSD, developed in partnership with PayPal, has joined the Universal Digital Payments Network. This move aims to help PYUSD better address common issues in traditional payment systems such as high costs, complex processes, and slow settlement times.
The Universal Digital Payments Network is a global messaging network built on distributed ledger technology (DLT), designed to bridge the gap between traditional payment infrastructure and modern digital currencies—including regulated stablecoins and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
