TechFlow news: Kevin Worth, long-time CEO of CoinDesk, has departed following a major restructuring initiated by exchange Bullish, which has appointed Sara Stratoberdha as CoinDesk's new CEO. Stratoberdha previously led business development at Bullish.
Other departing CoinDesk executives include Chief Operating Officer Elinor Hirschhorn, Vice President of Engineering John DeGuenther, and Executive Director of Global Strategy Emily Parker. Chief Content Officer Michael Casey is stepping down from his full-time role but is in discussions with Bullish to remain involved with CoinDesk in another capacity.
A spokesperson for CoinDesk stated, "CoinDesk will remain an independent subsidiary of Bullish, and Sara is committed to upholding CoinDesk’s journalistic independence and integrity."
Last November, cryptocurrency exchange Bullish acquired 100% of CoinDesk's shares in an all-cash transaction.
