TechFlow reports that Zecrey, a Layer2 privacy cross-chain protocol based on zkRollup, has announced the shutdown of its wallet operations as Zecrey Labs shifts focus to enhancing the Kontos protocol. The Zecrey wallet will no longer be available on app stores but will continue to operate until officially discontinued.
Zecrey stated that to ensure a smooth transition, a 60-day window period will be provided before services cease after March 31. Users must export their private keys or seed phrases by this date to retain access to their Zecrey wallet addresses.
In addition, the Zecrey Legend NFT Marketplace is currently under maintenance, and Zecrey Legend (including L2 and the NFT Marketplace) will be rebranded as zkLegend.
