TechFlow News — Pixelmon, an RPG NFT game, announced it has raised $8 million in seed funding from investors including Animoca Brands, Delphi Ventures, Foresight Ventures, Amber Group, Ray Chan (founder of 9GAG), and Robbie Ferguson (co-founder of Immutable). The team plans to use the newly raised capital to advance the development of its casual and mid-core gaming portfolio.
Notably, Pixelmon is currently developing four games: Arena (PvP survival arena), Hunting Grounds (open-world RPG), Kevin the Adventurer (casual game), and PixelPals (casual game). In addition to games, Pixelmon plans to expand its IP franchise through merchandise, a trading card game (TCG), animated series, and comic books.
