TechFlow reports that Binance has released a statement indicating its security team has been actively addressing asset recovery related to the XIRTAM project. As of September 6, 2023, Binance has initiated asset recovery procedures for over 1,750 victim addresses, assisting users in recovering assets from the incident.
To protect the interests of all affected users, Binance will suspend asset recovery procedures for all primary market participants on February 29, 2024, and commence asset recovery procedures for all secondary market participants on March 10, 2024.
