TechFlow news: The U.S. Department of the Treasury's sanctions regulator announced on Monday that the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom are placing several Hamas-affiliated financiers on a global financial blacklist, blocking individuals and entities accused of helping Hamas facilitate both cryptocurrency and non-cryptocurrency transactions within the global financial system.
"The Treasury will continue to use our authorities in close coordination with our allies and partners to target Hamas, its financiers, and their international financial infrastructure," said the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
