TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, for over two years, MoonDAO co-founder Pablo Moncada and his decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) have been working toward establishing a self-sustaining colony on the moon—an ambitious goal set by Moncada and the 5,000-member MoonDAO, which he co-founded in 2021.
Moncada acknowledges this is actually "unlikely," but that hasn't stopped him and his DAO from trying.
He believes space exploration is extremely "closed," dominated by government space programs or well-funded private companies.
MoonDAO, also known as the "internet's space program," was created to flip the script and enable ordinary people to fund space-related research and travel.
