TechFlow news: BlackRock announced on the 13th the appointment of Helena Chan as Head of Asia Pacific and Fan Hua as Head of China. Andrew Landman and Hiroyuki Shimizu have also been appointed Co-Deputy Heads of Asia Pacific, effective immediately.
Helena Chan succeeds Rachel Lord, who is relocating to London to lead BlackRock’s International business. Based in Hong Kong, Chan will oversee BlackRock’s operations across the Asia Pacific region, managing comprehensive development of businesses, clients, investment teams, and operational platforms, delivering active investments, index investments, ETF products, alternative investments, and technology solutions to wealth and institutional investors.
