TechFlow reported, according to Bitcoin.com, that following President Javier Milei's issuance of an emergency executive order, Argentina has registered one of its first rental agreements priced in bitcoin—a solution made possible by the new decree.
The agreement stipulates that tenants will pay their landlords a monthly amount equivalent to 100 US dollars in bitcoin, using the national cryptocurrency exchange Fiwind as the reference source for the bitcoin price. The contract also specifies that tenants must complete these payments to the landlord's provided address within the first five days of each month.
