TechFlow news: Visa announced Thursday that it is launching a Web3 loyalty service featuring gamified giveaways and immersive treasure-hunt activities. The Visa Web3 Loyalty Engagement Solution's customer engagement platform will allow brands to create digital wallets where they can store reward points and experiences on behalf of consumers.
According to Bond's "Loyalty Report"—a study that surveyed more than 60,000 consumers globally—many customers want to be rewarded for engaging with brands beyond simply purchasing their goods or services.
Specifically, the report notes that customers are more likely to form relationships with brands they perceive as sharing similar values, yet loyalty programs have not yet been able to incorporate mechanisms that integrate this type of alignment into their membership offerings.
