TechFlow news: U.S. financial lawyer Scott Johnsson posted on X platform stating that a key point to note in Grayscale's latest S-3 amendment filing is the change regarding airdrops/forks—Grayscale has explicitly abandoned these, for unknown reasons. Any future modifications will require regulatory approval.
Other issuers (as well as previous GBTC) have adopted a discretionary approach (e.g., deciding what actions to take when such events occur).
It feels like this might be mandated by the SEC, but other issuers have not yet made similar changes.
