TechFlow News — MEXC has issued a statement on social media addressing recent confusion surrounding the X account MEXC_CEO. The company explained that during MEXC's early stages, the platform used the X account MEXC_CEO for promotional activities, brand image management, and interactions with users and project partners.
In July 2022, the former CEO left the company. In December 2022, the former CEO officially departed from the X platform as well.
The X account MEXC_CEO was never formally verified by the MEXC platform. Due to its minimal content and small follower count, MEXC did not issue any official announcement about it (which is the root cause of widespread misunderstanding following the account’s deletion). In December 2023, users reported that the MEXC_CEO X account was deleted. The individual associated with this account has no actual connection with the official MEXC team.
MEXC apologizes for the resulting confusion, has removed all prior interaction posts related to the former CEO, and will refrain from further commentary to prevent additional misunderstandings. Going forward, all major personnel changes involving official media channels will be publicly announced. All official MEXC accounts are verified through the MEXC official verification platform.
