TechFlow news: ZKFair has announced the suspension of today's Gas Fee Airdrop event due to overwhelming community participation, abnormally frequent transactions from a few addresses, and attacks on nodes originating from a small number of IP addresses. Gas fees consumed by users between 11:00 and 13:00 (UTC+8) today will be fully refunded to their original addresses.
To ensure fair participation for all community members, the team has promptly adjusted the Gas Fee Airdrop rules, and the distribution of all ZKF tokens will restart tomorrow. Server capacity has also been expanded to provide users with a better experience.
Detailed plan as follows:
1) All ZKF tokens generated today will be returned to the pool after Gas fee refunds are completed;
2) The event will resume tomorrow, with the total Gas Fee Airdrop amount remaining at 7.5 billion ZKF;
3) After the event reopens tomorrow at 11:00, the 7.5 billion ZKF token airdrop will be distributed in four rounds, each lasting 12 hours;
4) In each 12-hour period, 25% (i.e., 1.875 billion ZKF) will be distributed proportionally based on users' Gas fee contributions;
5) The total Gas fee cap remains at 3 million USDC. Any excess Gas fees paid will be proportionally refunded after the event concludes.
These measures aim to enable more equitable participation for regular users. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
