TechFlow reported, according to The Block, that fintech company Revolut will cease allowing UK corporate customers to purchase cryptocurrencies through its platform, permitting only holding or selling. This move comes in response to new regulations set by the UK Financial Conduct Authority in October. Retail customers remain unaffected, but starting January 3, corporate customers will lose the ability to buy cryptocurrencies.
Revolut stated the adjustment aims to comply with the new rules, enhance customer experience, and provide greater protection for crypto asset investors.
