TechFlow reports, on December 13, in response to the question "Is today Ordinals Eve?", Casey, the founder of Ordinals, affirmed it on X, saying: "Happy Ordinals Eve, everyone! Traditionally, Ordinals Eve is a time to reflect on the decadence of the past year and burn a small number of rare Sats as offerings to the gods. Ordinals Day is a celebration for the coming year. In Asia, red envelopes inscribed with inscriptions are given to children and relatives."
It is reported that on December 14, 2022, the Ordinals protocol was officially launched, minting the first ordinal inscription—a giant skeleton.
