TechFlow news: Funko has partnered with Disney to launch non-fungible token (NFT) trading card packs on the WAX blockchain, digitizing its Pop! figures.
Funko Pop! collectibles are known for their compact size and bobbling heads, with some fetching as much as $100,000 in the secondary market. The collaboration will release a series of Funko Digital Pop! digital collectibles featuring Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck.
The digital NFT trading card packs will be released on December 12 at 19:00. Buyers will have the chance to win physical Funko Pop! figures.
