TechFlow news, November 29 — At the 2023 DealBook summit in New York, Musk mocked advertisers boycotting his platform X over his endorsement of a so-called "anti-Semitic" post during an interview.
"If someone wants to extort me with ads? Blackmail me for money? Go fuck yourself," Musk said. "The whole world will know it was the advertisers who killed X, and we'll document it in detail."
Musk argued that critics should focus on his work instead, saying, "We make the best cars. Whether you hate me, love me, or couldn't care less, do you want the best car or not?"
Earlier, Musk's controversial posts on X perceived as anti-Semitic led major advertisers including Disney, Apple, and IBM to pause their ad campaigns on the platform, prompting some prominent users to leave.
