TechFlow news: Sushi has released an important update regarding its return to the xSushi model and reward program, announcing the completion of minting 250 million Sushi tokens in total supply, with no further issuance planned. It has also made significant updates to its current reward program.
The V3 reward program is expected to end around December 8, 2023. Merkl, the non-staking reward distribution mechanism, will conclude its cycle in 14 days. To avoid confusion, the platform is updating its pool UI by removing the farmer icon.
Additionally, Sushi stated that its future focus will shift toward enhancing the tokenomics model, moving away from continuous token issuance and rewards, and committing to creating real value.
