TechFlow news — According to its official blog, Chainlink has announced the launch of Stake v0.2 on the Ethereum mainnet. Existing v0.1 stakers can now migrate their staked LINK and accrued rewards to v0.2, with guaranteed access during a 9-day priority migration phase. Starting at 12:00 PM Eastern Time on December 7, LINK token holders who meet predefined eligibility criteria will have the opportunity to stake up to 15,000 LINK four days before general access begins. From 12:00 PM Eastern Time on December 11, anyone can stake up to 15,000 LINK, subject to pool capacity.
Chainlink Staking v0.2 focuses on offering greater flexibility for stakers through a new unbonding mechanism, enhanced oracle service security via slashing, seamless future upgrades enabled by a modular architecture, and a dynamic rewards mechanism (which will support new reward sources in the future).
