TechFlow — According to GlobeNewswire, cryptocurrency trading platform OMTrade has completed a $6 million seed round. The funding was co-led by Find Satoshi Lab (developer of STPN), Folius Ventures, and Incuba Alpha, with participation from KSK Fund (backed by former Japanese soccer captain Keisuke Honda) and a star-studded group of investors including Web3 founders, Web2 entrepreneurs, hedge fund managers, and traders.
OMTrade is currently testing its Alpha version. Key team members include Forbes 30 Under 30 serial entrepreneurs, full-stack developers who have led over 20 DeFi/NFT projects, and the lead architect of the futures trading division at a top-five globally ranked trading platform.
