TechFlow news: The Element marketplace officially began minting the "Hi, Starks" rewards collection — "The Crown of Stark" — on the Starknet blockchain at 18:00 HKT on November 15, 2023.
However, just 30 seconds after minting commenced, the Starknet blockchain stopped producing blocks, forcing an emergency suspension of the collection's minting process.
Immediately after the halt, the Element team contacted the official Starknet technical team, identifying a likely cause: congestion in RPC and API access caused by 120,000 whitelisted addresses attempting to mint simultaneously for "The Crown of Stark," ultimately leading to the block production failure.
The Starknet blockchain has now resumed block production, following an approximately 50-minute downtime.
Meanwhile, minting for "The Crown of Stark" has resumed. However, due to ongoing network congestion, the platform recommends users mint during staggered time periods.
