TechFlow reported that Skyark, a AAA game creation and networking platform previously led by Binance investment, opened slime NFT minting on the opBNB chain at 8:00 PM on November 12, causing opBNB's gas fees to spike above 1 USDT.
All 400,000 slime NFTs were minted within 70 minutes, with nearly 50,000 sold in the first 24 hours. The official has not yet disclosed specific utilities for the slime NFTs.
SkyArk was funded by Binance Labs and has established partnerships with Disney, LayerZero, Astar, SNC, UOB (United Overseas Bank), Nissin, EZ-Link, NTUC, and WXYZ Studio.
