TechFlow news — Taiko, an Ethereum Layer 2 network based on zkRollup, has announced the winners of its first community grant program. Out of 92 high-quality applications, 15 projects were selected, with 9 already having contributed to Taiko. Below are several key projects:
Zero-Knowledge Proofs
1. SuperScalar: Provides zero-knowledge proof computation acceleration solutions and will deliver GPU-accelerated baseline solutions and FPGA-based proving tools for Taiko.
2. Polyhedra Network: A company designing and developing scalable, efficient zero-knowledge proof protocols for large-scale ZKP systems with distributed computing networks, committed to implementing zkBridge on Taiko.
Proof Markets
3. Prover Pool: A project aimed at lowering the barrier to becoming a block prover on Taiko, providing more options and frameworks to support the creation of multiple pools.
4. ZKPool: Focused on delivering a decentralized acceleration computing layer for Ethereum, it will build a proof market for the Taiko ecosystem, enabling low-cost and transparent proofs.
Gaming
5. FREDD Studios: A game studio that will develop PvP modes for its games and launch an NFT collection.
6. SporeForge: A game studio that created Taikoverse, will develop its second game for the Taiko community.
Education & Community Contributions
7. Dojo Node: Offers an easy-to-use dashboard for operating Taiko nodes and will continue enhancing tools, adding new features, and developing detailed documentation.
8. The Rollup: A media company that will produce a video series including interviews and conceptual explanations.
AI Integration
9. BrianAI: A non-custodial AI assistant that will develop additional features for the Taiko ecosystem to improve user adoption.
Others
10. FLock.io: A startup aiming to create on-chain neural processors, will establish a decentralized machine learning community on Taiko.
11. Offch: Addresses the high cost of DAO voting participation by developing a decentralized, trustless L1 multi-governance solution.
12. DevPool: An AI-powered, crypto-native DAO building platform developed by UbiquityDAO, will enable NFT and POAP payments on GitHub and deploy them on Taiko.
13. Taiko Subgraph on The Graph Network: The Grassets Tech team will create a Taiko subgraph on The Graph network, supporting easy access to blockchain data via subgraphs and GraphQL queries.
14. Sentio: A web3 observability platform that will deploy on the Taiko testnet, followed by the mainnet.
15. Gourds Studio: A company offering innovative DeFi solutions will continue optimizing its products and deploying them on the Taiko mainnet.
