TechFlow reports that blockchain application platform Lisk has announced the Mainnet v4 migration will take place on December 5, 2023, marking the realization of the Lisk Interoperability vision.
This migration will enable interoperability among all blockchain applications compatible with the Lisk v4 protocol across the Lisk mainchain.
Validators will need to upgrade their nodes to continue producing new blocks, with the initial migration phase lasting one week.
To share block rewards with token holders, validators must adjust their commission rates.
Users and investors do not need to worry about token loss, but they must download the latest version of Lisk Desktop or Lisk Mobile to send new transactions. Two Lisk Improvement Proposals (LIP 0047 and LIP 0052) will be released in a subsequent minor upgrade.
