TechFlow News — Mark Uyeda, Republican member of the SEC and U.S. House Representative, stated that the SEC needs to consider proposing rules or guidance for regulating cryptocurrencies, rather than continuing its enforcement-heavy approach.
Mark Uyeda said, "Instead of taking steps to help establish laws for cryptocurrency, the SEC has adopted a case-by-case enforcement approach. This means it takes years to achieve any type of legally binding precedent, as cases must proceed through the court system before reaching an appellate court."
