TechFlow news — Microsoft will shut down AirSim, its AI-based drone simulation software, on December 15, according to Business Insider.
Earlier, on October 19, Microsoft officially ended support for Bonsai, an AI development platform. Both projects were considered part of Microsoft's industrial metaverse initiative.
Gurdeep Pall, formerly corporate vice president for product incubation and business AI, who led the Bonsai project and most recently oversaw AirSim, left the company last month after 33 years.
