TechFlow news — Paima has announced a $1.4 million grant from Cardano and has open-sourced its code on GitHub.
Multiple gaming projects are already building with Paima, spanning EVM chains, Cardano, and others.
Paima states that all games on the network are non-custodial, meaning funds remain in users' wallets rather than being transferred to game-specific wallets, thereby reducing security risks.
Paima is a Layer 2 network designed for blockchain gaming. The product also supports migrating games from other networks onto Cardano, enabling users from those networks to play Cardano-based games without moving their assets.
