TechFlow reports, according to on-chain analyst烬 (Yujing), the address 0x44a2 distributed 67.17 million OP (worth approximately $86.18 million) to 21 addresses five hours ago.
Yujing speculated this might be part of the OP sale mentioned in the Optimism governance forum: the OP Foundation plans to sell 116 million OP to seven investors, with these tokens subject to a two-year lock-up period.
Notably, prior to this, on September 15, the Optimism Foundation address transferred 130 million OP (worth approximately $167 million) to the 0x44a2 multi-sig address.
