Earlier, on September 25, Huobi HTX suffered a hack resulting in the loss of 5,000 ETH (worth approximately $8 million). After the incident, Huobi HTX swiftly took measures and fully covered all losses incurred by the attack. Subsequently, Binance founder CZ posted on social media that Binance’s security team would do its utmost to assist Huobi HTX in tracking the hacker’s funds.
It is reported that since the establishment of the two cryptocurrency exchanges, they have repeatedly cooperated amicably to support and promote the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. In May 2019, Binance was hacked and lost 7,000 BTC. In support of Binance, Justin Sun personally deposited USDT worth 7,000 BTC into Binance, stating there was no need to panic and that everything was under control.
