TechFlow news: The Wormhole Foundation has proposed a plan to allocate 2.5 million ARB tokens to bring 100 million USDC onto Arbitrum. This proposal aims to offer users an 8% annualized return for minting native USDC on Arbitrum using Wormhole and its partner Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP). The reward will last up to three months with weekly accruals, meaning users can earn a maximum total return of 2% over the three-month period.
Previously, Wormhole Connect integrated Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), enabling users to transfer native USDC between Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism via Wormhole-based bridges.
