TechFlow reported that Jacob Rockland, Chief Technology Officer of generative NFT art platform Art Blocks, will step down from his CTO role and return to Google. After his resignation, Rockland will continue to work closely with the team as an advisor.
Rockland stated that he remains confident in the potential of cryptocurrency and digital ownership. He emphasized that he is not leaving the space, but rather continuing his involvement as an artist, collector, community advocate, and investor.
Jacob Rockland originally joined Art Blocks in August 2021, after previously serving as a senior software engineer at Google.
