TechFlow news: The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has publicly released for comment the "Proposal for Establishing the MIIT Metaverse Standardization Working Group (Draft for Comments)," aiming to promote standardized development of the metaverse industry.
The proposal notes that the current stage of metaverse development faces challenges such as concept misuse, technological ambiguity, and security risks, which require resolution through standardization.
The working group will consist of experts from multiple fields and aims to strengthen top-level standard design, focus on industry needs, integrate cutting-edge technologies, promote standard implementation, enhance international standardization efforts, and foster healthy and orderly development of the metaverse industry.
