TechFlow reported, according to Blockworks, that privacy project MobileCoin has appointed Sara Drakeley as its new CEO. Drakeley previously served as MobileCoin's Chief Technology Officer.
Drakeley joined MobileCoin five years ago as an engineer, after having worked at SpaceX and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
One of Drakeley's key focuses for MobileCoin (MOB) is "solving real problems for real people," she said. She specifically highlighted cross-border payments as an area of emphasis. In addition, MobileCoin plans to expand into Latin America and Africa.
