TechFlow reports, according to an official announcement, Circle has announced a partnership with Grab, a leading multi-service online platform in Southeast Asia, to pilot Web3 customer experiences in Singapore.
By integrating Circle’s new Web3 services platform into the Grab app, users in Singapore will be able to set up blockchain-enabled wallets via the “Grab Web3 Wallet,” earn rewards and collectibles, and use non-fungible token (NFT) vouchers.
Initially, the Grab Web3 Wallet will support the use of SG Pitstop Pack NFT vouchers at popular merchants and adventure activities in Singapore during the upcoming Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
The collaboration between Circle and Grab launches as a pilot for the SG Pitstop Pack, aiming to support the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) Orchid initiative to demonstrate real-world applications of use-case-specific money.
