TechFlow news, according to Cointelegraph, TechCrunch reported on September 11 that Coinbase sent email notifications to users in India requiring them to withdraw all funds from the trading platform by September 25, as all services would cease by that date. However, it has been understood that this notice only applies to customers who violate the platform's standards, not all Indian customers.
A Coinbase spokesperson revealed in an email on September 8: "We are contacting you to inform you that we will be discontinuing all Coinbase retail services associated with your above-mentioned account, as we will be disabling access to retail accounts that no longer meet our updated standards. During a recent routine review of our systems, certain accounts may have been identified that no longer meet our updated criteria. As such, these accounts will be disabled, and customers will be allowed to update their information at a later date."
