TechFlow News – dYdX Foundation CEO Charles d'Haussy stated at the 2023 Korea Blockchain Week that dYdX has taken a "new step" by decentralizing its order book. While the order book will not reside on the dYdX chain, it will be hosted within validators to enhance performance. D'Haussy believes this is a novel approach in the space, enabling purely decentralized order book trading.
Additionally, he mentioned that the Ethereum-based version of dYdX will shut down within months, and the transition for users to the new dYdX chain will be seamless with minimal disruption. Users will only need to connect their MetaMask wallets to the new chain, while the rest will be handled by the team.
