TechFlow News, according to Jinshi Data, the U.S. non-farm employment change in August came in at 187,000, above the expected 170,000 and unchanged from the previous month's figure of 187,000.
The unemployment rate rose by 0.3 percentage points in August to 3.8%, with the number of unemployed increasing by 514,000 to reach 6.4 million. These figures are little changed compared to a year ago, when the unemployment rate stood at 3.7% and the number of unemployed was 6 million.
