TechFlow reports that decentralized privacy protocol Automata Network has announced the official launch of the Automata 2.0 testnet, extending machine-level trust to Ethereum. Through its introduced Proof of Machinehood, leveraging optimistic Rollup and zk-proofs, it enables on-chain hardware authentication, ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of machines.
This modularized authentication layer is expected to enhance Web3 performance, developer experience, and auditability. Meanwhile, collaboration with AltLayer allows authentication to be performed on silicon-based hardware, avoiding traditional computational overhead and network congestion.
In addition, through restaking, ETH holders can earn additional yield, further strengthening the system's security.
